Brisbane Powerhouse

Situated on the Brisbane River (Maiwar) in Yagara Country, the Brisbane Powerhouse is a 1920s power station reborn as Queensland’s premier hub for contemporary art and culture.

Hosting over 1,250 events annually, the Powerhouse offers a diverse program across festivals, visual arts, music, theatre, comedy, dance, film, and more. Facilities include two main stage theatres, three smaller venues, gallery spaces, restaurants, bars, and corporate amenities, all with stunning river views.
