The Brisbane Entertainment Centre has been operated by ASM Global (formerly AEG Ogden Brisbane Pty Ltd) since its inception. Ownership was then transferred to Stadiums Queensland (formerly Major Sports Facilities Authority) from July 1, 2002. The Centre was built by the Brisbane City Council as a world-class multipurpose facility, and it was part of Brisbane’s bid for the 1992 Olympic Games.
